Each year, the American Bar Association hosts an annual TechShow that draws legal tech companies, attorneys, and other legal professionals from around the country to meet, network and learn about some of the newest developments and tools in the legal tech industry.
The ABA TechShow is held in Chicago each spring, and for the third year in a row it will host a pitch competition featuring 15 promising legal tech startups, organized by lawyer and legal tech expert, Robert Ambrogi. Numerous submissions for possible contenders were made to Ambrogi’s Law Sites Blog this past October. From all the entries received, a panel of judges whittled down the submissions to their favorite 25. Then the 15 entries from that group that garnered the most votes, were chosen to be a part of the American Bar Association’s Annual TechShow Start-Up Alley, and the pitch competition.
The 15 winners were announced on December 31st, and we’re proud to announce that TrialLine is one of those winners.
Not only will TrialLine have the opportunity to participate in the pitch competition where we’ll have a chance to win over the Techshow attendees and their votes, but we’ll have a booth in the Start-Up Alley area of the Techshow exhibit hall as well. We’re looking forward to networking with other legal tech professionals, attorneys, and writers, and we’re looking forward to the opportunity to explain why TrialLine is the best attorney timeline software available on the market.
The TechShow will begin on February 27th, running through March 2nd, 2019. For more information and tickets, check out Techshow.com. And if you end up making it to Chicago, be sure to stop by and say hello.

In a side-by-side comparison, TrialLine was the clear winner over Lexis Nexis Timemap and Westlaw’s Case Timeline. Unlike Timemap and Case Timeline, TrialLine works on tablets and Macs as well as PC’s. TrialLine also allows attorneys to email timelines to others, to share and view timelines online, and to include videos in events, to name just a few of its features. TrialLine also offers case-specific invoicing and real time product support, and even allows attorneys to export category-specific summaries.
